BHC Round Up 23/9/23

Bloxwich Ladies 1s picked up their first win of the season at the second time of asking beating Sutton Coldfield 3-0 thanks to goals from Charlotte Mincher, Katie Freeman and Hannah Raines.

The Ladies 2s (pictured) recorded their second successive defeat on the road to Burton losing 3-1 despite Chloe Hinton scoring her third goal of the season. 

A Niki Lockley brace alongside goals from captain Zanna Wade, Steph Shaw and Mia Anderson have the Ladies 3s an excellent 5-0 at home to North Staffs.

An own goal by hosts Stafford wasn’t effort for our Ladies 4s who slipped to a narrow 2-1 defeat. 

In the Mens Section the 1st team made it two wins on the bounce winning 2-1 and stealing the points from Bridgnorth. Despite defending for long periods the team scored two clinical goals from captain Ed Freeman-Marrocco and Dave Cook. 

Jon Morris recorded his first win as captain as the Mens 2s produced a goal frenzy at Sneyd winning 7-1 against Bridgnorth 2s. A quadruple for Adam Baldwin, a Matty Boden double and a strike for Danny Steatham gave the Morris Men their first win of the campaign.  

Ten goals were evenly split at five each for our Mens 3s, a Shabba Butt hatrick as well as goals for Rich Bessey and the returning Martin Oates wasn’t enough to win the game for a team growing in confidence all the time. 

Our Mens 4s were humbled 3-0 against Shrewsbury, the team had further debutants this week as continue to progress and develop this section of our club. 

Bloxwich Bears won again beating Barford 2-1 thanks to goals from Sam & Ivan.
