BHC Roundup - U10 Bears Back in Action!

Bloxwich Ladies 1s suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat against league leaders Worcester despite an improved team performance.

A tight first half for Bloxwich Ladies 2s wasn’t enough against Lichfield as two late goals from the visitors meant they came away with three points. 

A Niki Lockley brace and strikes for Steph Shaw and Loz Horobin gave the Ladies 3s a superb 4-0 victory over Tamworth.

Our Ladies 4s battled hard for a 0-0 draw away at neighbours WATS.

Bloxwich Men's 1s narrowly lost a crucial game against league leaders Redditch in a very division 3. Bloxwich now sit five points off the top of the table.

With captain Jonny Morris missing the Men's second team record an impressive 7-0 win against Leek thanks to a quadruple for Adam Baldwin as well as strikes for Nathan Langley, Harry Scott and Fin O’Connor.

The Men's 3s and 4s competed in a double header against North Staffs. The thirds came away with nothing in a 3-0 defeat while the 4s came away with an excellent 2-1 victory thanks to a double from Bob Foster, the result was a huge improvement from last weeks heavy defeat. Well done lads! 

Our young Badgers battled hard but lost 5-3 against an older West Brom side, goals from Charlie Sam & Tyler.

Our U10 bears (pictured) were back in action taking part in a mini festival hosted by WATS.

The team played really well in all 3 matches! We were without Dylan in goal as he’s poorly, get well soon Dylan! Bella and Jessica stood up to the challenge and dominated in defence by clearing the ball and making crucial tackles.

Sienna, Holly J and Annabelle worked tirelessly in midfield showing lovely skill on the ball. Matty, Vincent and Holly M played up front and attacked with pace throughout all games.

Big shout out to Vincent who played his first game for the U10’s!! He’s stepped up from U8’s with ease and got stuck in!!
