Bloxwich Ladies 1s welcome Old Sils to EACT Saturday morning and achieved their best result of the season beating our 2nd place visitors 3-1 thanks to a Katie Greensill screamer and Kate Freeman double.
The Ladies 2s made the early trip to Leek but came away with a 5-0 defeat.
Goals for Loz Horobin and Julie Kempaon wasn’t enough for our Ladies 3s (pictured) as they lost 7-2 to Shrewsbury.
A hat-rick for Izzy and a goal for Chloe Potts saw our Ladies 4s earn a superb 4-1 win over neighbours Lichfield.
In the Men's Section our 2s and 4s were involved in an interclub game after our opponents dropped out of our fixtures.
Bloxwich Men's 1s lost further ground in the promotion race as they drew 3-3 with fellow contenders Stourport in a bad tempered game at EACT. Kian Glasby put Bloxwich ahead 1-0 and Matty Boden made it 2-1 to Bloxwich but with five to play Bloxwich trailed 3-2. Boden popped again for his second of the game to earn Bloxwich a point.
Bloxwich Men's 3s lost a ten goal thriller 6-4 against Leek a treble for Phil Foster and a goal for Rich Bessey wasn’t enough this weekend.
