BHC Roundup 4/11/23

Bloxwich Men's 1s returned to league action with a convincing 5-2 victory over neighbours Stafford. A Kian Glasby double alongside goals from Dave Cook, Jamie Probert and Jake Perkins saw Bloxwich close the gap at the top of the table to one point. 

A last minute drag flick from Jason Palmer rescued a point for the Men's 2s against league leaders Newport at home. Danny Steatham with the other Bloxwich goal. 

More disappointment for the Men's 3s as they fell to a 3-2 defeat against Lichfield despite a brace from Shabba Butti.

The Men's 4s came out 4-3 winners in a seven goal thriller at Sneyd against Shrewsbury. A hat-rick for Wojcech Malczewski and Samuel Murphy with the goals for Bloxwich.

Our Ladies 1s played out a 0-0 draw with Edgabston at a wet EACT Saturday morning. 

Our Ladies 2s came away with nothing losing 2-0 at promotion chasing Shrewsbury. 

A Steph Shaw double saw our Ladies 3s continue their strong league form beating WEM 2-1 on Saturday lunchtime. 

Our Ladies 4s suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat against a Telford development side. 

Our Badgers played an inter-club game with some of our back-2-hockey players at Sneyd - fantastic to have over 20 young players or new players on the pitch as well as our eight league sides. 

A huge shout out to all juniors to trained on Saturday morning as well in tough weather conditions (pictured).

Over 120 players represented Bloxwich Hockey Club at the weekend.
