The local MP for Walsall North, Eddie Hughes, will be visiting us at Bloxwich Hockey Club on Saturday 12th November 2022 at Sneyd Community Centre. He is taking time to come and see how brilliant our kids are as part of 'UK Parliament Week', and to celebrate all that Bloxwich Hockey Club is doing in the local community.
It would be fantastic for as many children as possible to attend junior training 9am - 10am so Eddie can see how truly great our club us and get to see our Bears in action.
Eddie will be hosting a ‘Tea with my Community’ event to celebrate UK Parliament Week. UK Parliament Week is an annual event to highlight what Parliament is, what is does and how the wider community can get involved.
This year, UK Parliament Week is all about community and has been inspired by Sir David Amess who was tragically killed whilst serving his own community in Southend West. This event will be a chance to celebrate the very best of Walsall North, with local volunteers, community organisations, sports clubs and individuals who dedicate their time to making Bloxwich, Willenhall and Walsall North a happier and better place to live and work. We’re a tight-knit community with plenty of residents who give back to our towns and local people.
Bloxwich Hockey Club - Saturday 12th November. Join us at Sneyd Community Association (Vernon Way, Bloxwich, WS3 2PA) 10am-12pm for tea, coffee and cake to celebrate our community and meet local community champions.
