Bloxwich Hockey Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Louie Morris as the new Ladies Head Coach ahead of the upcoming season.
Louie brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience at the highest levels of English hockey. His playing career has seen him represent Cannock Hockey Club in the Premier Division, where he was part of the squad that secured multiple junior competition victories. He also earned honours for England U16s, showcasing his talent on the national stage from a young age.
Currently, Louie plays for Harborne Hockey Club, where he captained the Men's 1st XI to win the England Hockey Tier 1 Championship Cup. Under his leadership, Harborne has also clinched the Midlands Conference title, and he now leads the team in the England Hockey League Division 1 North.
Off the pitch, Louie has built an impressive coaching portfolio. He guided Cannock U16s to the Indoor National Finals and the Cup Quarter Finals in outdoor competitions. For the past four years, he has been the driving force behind Harborne Ladies 1st XI, and has also successfully coached Harborne’s men’s indoor side to a Division 2 North promotion. Additionally, Louie is an active coach at King Edward’s Five Ways School and also coaches Staffordshire County U17 Boys, nurturing the next generation of young talent.
